Many of the drug companies have a financial assistance program for low income or under/un insured patients. I would try calling Teva and see what they can do for you.

they should be bending over backwards to sign you up to copaxone...given there's so many new drugs on the horizon (oral doses at that). Mention to Teva that you're not sure whether to sign on for copaxone...or get your veins cleared cause you've been diagnosed with ccsvi. Sure they'll agree on a payment plan.

Over here in Australia the drug is about AUD $1200 per box (30 doses) ...and is government subsidised to users. Personally I pay ~ AUD$30 per month. If I was on a low income I'd only pay about $5 per month due to the government subsidy.

Anyway - they market at a different price in every country depending upon the insurance or government subsidy environment. There's definitely plenty of leeway in the price.

Teva does have a plan, only if your pharmacy is participating in the plan. I know your insurance has to pay the copay first, then they pay the pharmacy your copay.

They used to do it for me, but I changed insurance and now my pharmacy is not a "participating" pharmacy.

Call them and see if there's anything else they can do for you. d

Also, there's a person on her trying to give a box away - pm him. He's in Mexico.
