Celebrities?

If we could find just one celebrity with MS to undergo the CCSVI testing and the treatment, his/her PR rep would make sure CCSVI gets the publicity it deserves!

Any ideas?

I found out that Mrs. Obama's Dad has MS and wrote to her in early Jan. asking for her help to promote CCSVI, but no answer as of yet. I guess one has to be American. I hope she can do something quick.

I also sent a letter to the First Lady, Michelle Obama, back in December. I never heard anything back, I wasn't expecting to hear from "her". Hopefully if people keep sending her letters, she'll start looking into CCSVI. I think I'll send her a follow up letter.

Hey, thats a great idea, but I stand to be corrected , I think I read somewhere that Michelle Obamas dad had passed away recently. I would be interested in knowing what Montel Williams feels about CCSVI and how come he hasn't come forward? ( who knows he probably already has the procedure done and waiting for the results, I can't see him just sitting idlly by, because he has been so vacal about MS and has raised millions of dollars, now is the time for him to make sure it goes into this research for CCSVI!!!!!!!!!![/b]

I LOVE the Obamas. We need a first family like them in Canada, young and fresh. I think she will be able to move CCSVI Research along quickly, she is doing "it for love" just like Dr. Zamboni!
I, too will send a follow up letter. One more thing, I also sent a letter to the Montel Williams Foundation...still wating for a reply.

Montel Williams

Post by BalsaBoy »

I read somewhere recently (might have been New Pathways) that Montel Williams had had some special type of Chiropractic adjustment and was doing well. Who knows, it might have taken pressure off his jugular! I think there's a video on YT for anyone who's interested.

I believe Montel was contacted and he was not interested at that time in CCSVI. As new research comes out, maybe that will be changing.

My favorite rock band was Iron Maiden
when i was younger :)
Now i know that their first drummer Clive Burr have MS.
(famous people with MS: http://www.mult-sclerosis.org/famous.html )

The band made a lot of charity concerts for him, and even the Clive Burr MS Trust foundation.
http://www.ironmaiden.com/index.php?cat ... icleid=439

But i cant find any contact for them. I tried to leave a message at ironmaiden.com. but not sure Clive will get it.

As far as i know he is the most famous person in the UK who has MS...

If anyone have contact to Iron Maiden or to Clive Burr itself in the UK, please contact them (i have written the letter, ask me if you need it as a template)

Hi all, have written to the Montel williams MS foundation more than 10 times, no response yet...I suggest more people write to his foundation which states they are interested in a CURE...well this is as close as it gets!
Teri Garr has MS too.

Peace,

- I was told by someone that did get to Montel that he isn't interested in this at all, that he is more involved with drug companies.
- His web site does have a forum section (MS Speaks), maybe we should help make it a little more active???

-This is a duplicate thread of this one http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-9270-obama.html - might want to check out the replies there.

I tried to get onto the forum, gave all my info and never got the 'ok' from their administration? I was however able to read blogs in the forums, just was not able to actually participate, and I was shocked to see not one mention of ccsvi anywhere! That was why I tried to 'subscribe' to start spreading the word; perhaps I should try again with a different email address...don't want to be paranoid or anything but I did send them a lot of emails...
any ideas on this?

I was wondering why Montel hasn't jumped all over this one. I would not be surprised at all if he's been given a gag order by his sponsors. This is all good though. The more he doesn't speak about it, the bigger his voice. He's not speaking against it either. Maybe that's the compromise he's made with his backers.

montel williams is our 'big fish' in the celebrity world, if we could just get a response from his foundation...has anyone else tried to get on his forum 'ms speaks' to start the conversation there about ccsvi? i believe everyone wants wellness, even montel, well, i want to believe that, and any new therapy hints at wellness, especially ccsvi....has anyone else written to the foundation?
good point paulmur about his 'voice' being larger as he continues to be silent...but i think it could be larger if he got involved. shouldn't we keep trying?

peace to all the 'troopers' on this site!

I would think that any celebrity has their reputation on the line and can't speak out for this too early (even if they're privately excited about this).

I dunno...

I just saw Montel on a commercial pimping $1000 payday loans... his reputation is apparently not what it used to be! At least it dropped a few notches on my scale!
