Treatment starts in Kuwait

Post by GiCi »

I have just received a message from Zamboni: the Kuwait government has decided to treat all its 6000 MS patients with angioplasty at the rate of 10 a day and has asked him for technical assistance.
This is the break-through we all were waiting for and, even if it will not benefit MS patients in the western world immediately, it will certainly pave the way for converting sceptics in the future.

My respect for Kuwaiti Govt. has simply multiplied.
This is really a slap on the face of many dysfunctional Govt's all around the world.

This is wonderful news! It may be across the world, but the more diagnostics and treatments performed, the more that is learned.

It's win-win for all.

Wonderful news for the Kuwaiti Mser's too!

Amazing - how do we send this info to Gordon Brown? Wonder if he and his crew will be so dismissive now? I hope not!!

Please Claire, don't publicize this development, otherwise people will find ways to sabotage it (the next flight to Kuwait will be full of our friendly-born-to-take-care-of-patients neuros)

I take your point sbr487 - but I don't think it needs me to publicise it, I think the treatment of thousands of people in one country is enough publicity all on it's own!!!

So I won't call Gordon Brown
