LIVABIRD's Poland Adventure

Post by livabird »

Hi All,
This is liva's hubbie and we are getting set for an adventure to Poland.
We are supposed to fly out Monday morning, but because of all the chaos we have now had to change our plans... and we are driving from Northampton to Poland, what an adventure....
I will try to give regular updates and progress here..
We head out at around 3am tomorrow to make our way to Eurotunnel, then off we go
Just a note that Marta from Euromedic called and asked if there is anything they can help us with, they are just FANTASTIC

So watch this space

Good for you two. Nothing gets in the way.

It looks like I will miss my appointment - no tunnel from Canada to Europe!

Still hoping the wind will change but I think realistically my flight will be cancelled on Tuesday.

It figures!

I think Euromedic is overrun by Canadians.

i am glad for all of you. best of luck to you all. read my progress and short diary of my trip to poland if you like:

(Liberation) http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-10392.html
(Diary) http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-10391.html

have only one thing to say for all. MAKE SURE dr. ludyga specifies where the ballonning and stents are placed by C or T numbers. he didn't do it for me even though i wrote two or three emails inquiring about the location of stent. god forbid, but if in an emergency doctors have to know, they won't be able to do it easily.

Jaguar, I am soo sory for your situation. I was hoping to meet you on Friday in Katowice, as I have MRV on 23rd just like you.
I hope wind will change soon. Today we had a sunny weather here in Poland all day, no clouds on the sky, but all the airports closed :-(

Hi Livabird.

I'm glad you are on the way. Don't worry about the tunnel, just pretend you are in the Alps, or such. Best of luck, and safe journey!

PS: alby - sorry, I mixed you up with algie on another thread. You are not in Taiwan.
My name is not really Johnson. MSed up since 1993

Hi Jaguar,

It will be okay, you'll leave on time. You didn't get an earlier appointment for you not to make it for your "Liberation" I was looking forward to meeting a fellow Montrealer.
