Zamboni Protocols

Post by MSUK »

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could point me to a copy of the Zamboni Protocols, if such a document exists? Have been requested to provide one, but do not have a "real" one which details exactly the procedures to follow for CCSVI scanning as per Dr Zamboni.

If someone coould point me to one, or better still email me it I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for those. :D

What I really need is a description of the different scans they do, and how they do it.

Protocols what protocols

Post by MarkW »

I have not seen any published document which could be described as a protocol. If these were developed in the future I would expect to see at least two:
Zamboni Protocol for Balloon Venoplasty
Dake/Simka Protocol for Stenting
We are at the early stages of CCSVI not at the fixing protocols stage.
Kind regards,
MarkW

I had saved this post from Facebook - CCSVI in MS, but neglected to note the date. May be helpful to you...

CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis :
Ayal-The Esaote machine (made in Italy) is the transcranial doppler machine which enables the doctors to see blood refluxing into the brain.
Here are the testing protocols-for doppler: http://csvi-ms.net/files/multiple%20sclerosis-USG.pdf
For the MRV: http://www.ms-mri.com/
The doctors really need to communicate with Dr. Zamboni in order to understand what to look for--the protocols are very specific.
I hope this helps you--Joan
