garyak was liberated today

Post by garyak »

I had my catheter venogram very early this morning at the Del Mar Vein clinic in San Diego.
I will go into more detail when I arrive back in Canada later this week.
Results showed my azygous to be healthy with normal blood flow.
My left IJV had borderline narrowing and was ballooned.
My right IJV was 70% narrowed in lower portion and was also ballooned.
Normally by this time of day (6:30 p.m.) after waking up at 5:30 a.m. I would be passed out and sleeping. This far into the day my fatigue is minimal. It is too early to tell if my lack of fatigue is from the procedure or just the high of finally having the procedure. It could also be due to meeting special guests that visited the Del Mar clinic today. Those guests were none other than Devin Hubbard, his wonderful mother, his incredible father- Dr. David Hubbard and Dr. Haake who were visiting.
Dr. Hubbard mentioned that over 80 IRs are now interested in his national IRB proposal. Cheerleader is visiting the Hubbard's tomorrow and I hope to meet her at the Hubbard Foundation when I get my follow up MRV there tomorrow.
I will end this note here as I am taking my beautiful wife, Tracy out for a nice dinner.
All the best, Gary.

Congrats Gary,

We were traveling home from Sicamous today. I had you in my thoughts all day, wondering how your procedure went! Hope you have continued improvements. I am very curious about the Hubbard Foundation, as I am in the scheduling process & have been communicating with Arlene lots as well!

Congrats garyak!!! I hope that fatigue stays gone! I also thought of you today.

Nice scoop on the eighty site applicants...did he give any indication if he has a set number of sites that he'd include? Or if eighty sites could meet the qualifications, would he approve all eighty? I'm also looking for any scoop, from anyone, on how soon the sites might be approved. This time my quest for info is personal; there are four sites near to me that have applied.
