Has anyone had a second procedure at Dr. Mehta's?

Post by ladywise »

Just curious if anyone with possible/probable restenosis has had a second procedure done at Dr. Mehta's, and how it went the second time around.

I had such amazing results the first time around, but am geting symptoms back which lead me to thinking I am beginning to renarrow and/or restenos somewhat.

Thanks!

I know a person or two treated by Dr. Mehta who then went with a different doctor for their second procedure but I can't think of anyone who had a second procedure still with him. He's kept a low profile, I wonder how his study is going?

Thanks for the reply. :D Well, I'll be calling him on Tuesday and we'll see what he says. I'll also try to find out how his clinical trial is going.

Are you close-by so you could get a doppler ultrasound done to see if there's restenosis? I am sorry to hear about symptoms returning.

Yes, shake loose some details about the study if you can! He had aimed for an ambitious 600 patients (that was what the study was approved for) but I think it would be hard to round up that many. He did present some preliminary findings at ISNVD, now that I think about it.
