Understanding the BRAIN - resources & IPAD IPHONE APPs

Post by MegansMom »

This website http://www.finr.net/ has a few great resources for understanding the brain and brain injury.

I love the iPad iphone app of 3d spinning brain model.

I think it can help many people understand basics of anatomy and injury.

The resources section is on the right margin and it's quite good.

Under the section about anoxia and hypoxia there is the ring of familiarity with CCSVI symptomatology.

Thanks for the heads up, at 1.99 it was well worth it and works great on the iphone, very educational. I like how you can rotate the brain, key in on certain areas and get info, nice to have alongside my path reports! Thanks again, Mark

I emailed them and asked them to add the venous system in the next version. Hope they do it.

I like how you can easily review what function different areas perform and visualize the pathology. They did a great job.

The other resources below the brain atlas are also quite good and they are free.
