Marie,

I am also fasinated by the whole deal and hope I get to see what they are doing on a monitor.

Everybody: More info on Palo Alto

The Sheraton:
1) They are giving Stanford patients a 50% food and drinks (non-alcoholic) coupon for thier resturant - eat-in - Saves a lot of money so ask for it.
2) There is bottled water in the room for $3 for a 1 liter bottle. I drank one cause the water here is nasty. My husband thought that was terrible to pay that but I was tired and did not care.
3) Internet access it $9.95 for 24 hours. I used my iphone or went to the lobby and used the complimtery computers there. Friday when I am recouping in the room I will pay the $ for it.

That's all I can think of now, oh, the beds are awesome!!

The shopping center is so cool and we enjoyed it very much. Bus ride is free! Bloomindales, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Crate and Barrell plus many, many small shops and many designer shops!! Michael Kors!! OMG!!

There is a market there also, Andronico's 500 Stanford Shopping Center - that has a deli, bakery, salad bar, olive bar and drumroll please..... 1 gallon bottled water for $1.49!!! David got a big fat pastry for his breakfast in the morning for $2.12 since I can't eat after midnight.

Oh yeah, the handbag I was going to buy is still in Nieman Marcus    It was a Louis Vutton and it was $1100 with a $438 charm attached. I took a picture of it to remember it by. I will post that later.

One more thing. There is a McDonalds in the Stanford shopping center and it does have a $1 menu....... :)

The flowers and palm trees are amazing here. It is a very beautiful place to visit.

Til tomorrow.

Prof8,

I am not sure if is the Tysabri or the Tesla # of the MRI machine. I have a T3 MRI every six months and I think this may be a T2 machine here. I will ask tomorrow.

Or does anyone know the Tesla # of the MRI machines here at Stanford.

Mark

I had the MRI Mrv at 7am, the venous Doppler at 930 and the blood draw right after this. So the UT has not been eliminated at this point. But the blood draw is done before the surgery .

Cat, I was so happy to hear that you got around easily on the Caltrain and Marguerite. Oh yeah, and that you also have something Dr. Dake can fix :D

Really though, very exciting for you! You sound in excellent spirits, and I hope the procedure and recovery goes swiftly and smoothly for you. Will keep checking in to hear how you are doing.

Cindi, I'll be holding your hand and your new handbag for you in my mind today. Can't wait to hear later how it all went down. Stay calm and hopeful,

cureious,

I had time after the MRI and UT to go get Blood Draw and then ate lunch. We were still early for Dr Dake. I gave us time to get to know Angela and Alex, they are wonderful.

I am waiting in admitting right now, they have some sort of computer glitch. My husband is nervous and I am ready to get the show on the road.

Until this afternoon.....
