hmmm TRIED to have a look on http://www.fondazionehilarescere.org/, but the site wasn't resonding...
This refers to the way scientific magazines work: they receive papers at a certain date, and then it is refereed by a number of reviewers/referees, before they accept it and then allow it to be published.IbRiz wrote:In the top it says "December 2009", but further down it says "Received 11 June 2009; accepted 23 July 2009".....

But still, Sou made a smart remark about the presentation in London of this paper...that sounds weird. People might have known already what the results are of the 18 months tracking. Why hasn't that been shared yet then?
I am confused....
Yes that is the new paper and I own a copy.
It is a great paper.
It is the same information from the cxsymposium, but presented correctly and throughly for publication.
I'll answer questions about it if you like.

Zamboni's paper
I have a copy of the paper: it is new and exciting!
First of all it says that the complications of the liberation procedure (no stents) were very few and mild, demonstrating that it is a safe procedure.
Secondly it establishes a very strong link between MS and CCSVI.
Thirdly it shows statistically significant improvement for RRMS with decrease of the relapsing episodes and improvement in the motor performance in SP and PPMS.
I wish to stress the importance of the paper, which will pave the way for more scientists to jump on the wagon.
We are getting there!
