I think your math might be off a bit. 300 mg/day = .3 grams/day = .0003 kg/day. = .000661 pounds/day. So ten pounds would last 10/0.000661 = 15128 days or about 40 years. That's basically a lifetime supply.

Depends how long yer expecting your lifetime to be. I am on the side of the adjusters. Plus I know it only lasts on the shelf for 2 years, which is 365 (days) times 2 (years) times .3 grams equals to 219 grams. So don't bother buying 1kg, 4/5 of it will be stale before you take it. Unless you're in the Dallas Buyers' Club.

Anyway 10 pounds is not 10 grams no matter how ya slice it.

You can buy higher quantities which result in a cheaper cost yet again.

If you are calculating costs, your first batch will probably cost a little more, as you will need to also purchase a capsule machine (roughly $USD30), empty capsules ($USD15), a jewelers scale ($USD10) and some filler (depends on what you use and how much you buy, could be corn starch); as well as the Biotin itself.

I happen to already have all of the above. So I bought the 10g Biotin from above, and have made my second set of 24 capsules. I used 2.4g Biotin + 18g Creatine Mono-hydrate (as the filler), filled into 24 capsules (the size of my capsule machine), providing 100mg in each capsule (2.4g=2400mg, 2400mg/24=100mg), which I take 3 times a day.

10g / (0.3g/day) = 33.3 days

Making capsules seems like a lot of aggravation to me, especially since I am taking 20 daily 10 mg doses. I read that the half life of d-biotin is 2 hours. Seems like 3x daily might not be enough.

People seem to be under the impression they can improve on the MedDay results by metering doses and taking it spread out over the day. Thank you for the anecdotal evidence, but I'll stick with the daily regimen as tested. Changing things may be productive, counter-productive, or just a waste of time. I suspect the latter, because I think biological cycles do not happen much faster than daily (unless you're a hummingbird), and I think it may be hard to coax them to go any faster. I trust my body to do the right things with a daily supply.
