Hi Elliot,ElliotB wrote:Virtually all the Coimbra testimonials are from individuals who have had MS for a relatively short period of time and they are probably at the RRMS stage.
Yes, the protocol is effective for people with advanced stages of MS (SPMS and PPMS) and/or for patients that have MS for a long period of time. It also works with Devic's disease that is considered even more aggressive than MS.
No, we do not have yet a section only for testimonials with these criteria.I wonder if there has been any info published as to its success for the more advanced stages of MS such as SPMS and PPMS? AntonioBR?
Unfortunately, most of the testimonials are not detailed enough, I mean, patients often do not even say what type of MS they have.
Moreover, I have been noticing that patients with more aggressive types of MS are usually older. They do not use the internet to publish their progression or health condition. That's just what I've seen...
The protocol prevents efficiently that RRMS progress to a more aggressive MS type. And as RRMS is the most common type of MS - at least in the beginning of disease - it (probably always) will comprehend most of the testimonials.
For patients that have MS for a long period - like Coimbra already said - it's very difficult to ''heal'' old brain/spine lesions using the protocol. But, it can happen. Furthermore, the main goal in such cases is to stop the disease progression and relapses. Not to recover lost disabilities.
For patients with PPMS and SPMS the doctor's first goal are also to stop the disease progression and relapses. However, in such cases, the relapses happen more often and second Coimbra the emotional part play a quite important role here. So, he emphatically recommends meditation, psychotherapy, and even drugs/supplements when necessary. (I would recommend hypnosis too)
There are so many testimonials that I could easily fill 80 pages or more with them but they lack enough information about what type MS they have.
We have some few testimonial that are part of these criteria:
