What it the safe range of liver ALT number ??

Hi

I'm now for over year on Rebif 44mc X 3, we know that Rebif increase liver enzymes but, what is the ALT test ranges in number that I must stop Rebif ?

normal is 0-40

You should certainly have a physician evaluate these scores but, personally, I would re-test after some time (a few weeks) if ranges were 45>40. Though it must be said that mild elevation can be indicative of liver disease, but you need a physician's knowledge and experience with differential diagnosis to properly determine what these scores mean for you. Please do not think that you can do this (test interpretation) on your own, as you can cause harm to yourself or others. An internet algorithm is no substitute for medical training.

I read somewhere about 2 to 3 times the upper limit of normal, so 80-120ish. Definitely heed the advice of the above post, though.
