I just got a copy.

Seems it's based on the Swank diet but incorporates a bit of newer research.

A lot of the information looks to me to be fairly compatible with the BBD as well, though not all.

What do you think of it?

I chose Swank's diet because it has the most evidence to back it up. He studied a lot of patients for 34 years. His diet seems to be my best hope for staying on my feet. 10 years down, hopefully many more to go.

My opinion is that no general diet is good for an individual. Yes it's true that some of the dietary aproaches discussed on this forum are in theory diets created for people with MS but that does not mean they will be appropriate for you or me or anyone else. Sure they might work for some people but we are all different and have different reactions to different food products. My opinion is that if you want to start a diet you should consult a specialist i.e. a dietician or nutritionist. They can identify the harmful products inyour diet and arrange it individually for you.

agree, brent. no single diet is guaranteed to properly address individual nutrient imbalances across the board. testing and attaining targets should be addressed so that patients have a real way to measure the impact of any given dietary regimen.
