What are the ideal diets?

What are the ideal diets?

Hi,

Could anyone share the ideal diets for health?

that is a matter of great debate!

among other ideas, i do enjoy one very simple adage:

1. eat food (ie not processed pseudo-foods)
2. not too much
3. mostly plants

it doesn't go quite as far as it needs to re 'well rounded' or 'balanced' but, a good start.
active members shape site content. if there is a problem, speak up!
use the report button to flag problematic post content to volunteer moderators' attention.

Most MS diets stress foods very low in saturated fat. Many of them seem to be variations/updates of Dr. Swank's diet. I suggest you look into Dr. Swank's diet and also the Paleo diet to start.

I also strongly suggest when eating meats eat only grass fed meats and wild fish such as Salmon, Tuna and Sardines), all considered high in Omega 3 (good fat) and low in saturated fat.
