I'll keep taking Mag then. And my doctor already said to nix the Fe supplements since they were doing anything for me anyway. That on its own could probably re-balance copper levels if they were off.

I did about 50-60 a day for a few weeks back when everyone was getting sick. At this point I'm doing 10 that's in one of my supplements.

10 sounds good. 50-60 could be expected to make a pretty solid dent in your iron status. have you ever tried this guy for preventing infections? does a pretty great job

if you were to go for foods that are rich in both iron and zinc, you could expect to have less trouble with your levels compared to the tricky battling supplement scenario!

The more I read about competing nutrients, the more I'm convinced that getting as much as we can from our food is the way to go. Nature probably had a pretty good system going for us until we messed it up with mass production and the Western diet.

of course then you have to think about the nutrient density of conventional vs organic produce - conventional fertilizers are basically the isolated supplement version of plant food and that has its own consequences.
