I am going to try and do a 'post' video today. I am still fighting jet lag, woke up at 5:30 again, watched a movie and finally went back to sleep. So.....it's a rainy day and I'm going to try and catch up on things.

Well it's been a long day.

After over 20 hrs traveling time from Manitoba (5hr layover in Frankfurt!) we got picked up in Katowice by a smiling driver named Derek (or something close to that). On our way to the hotel, he got a call from Kate who said they had some time for the MRI if we weren't too tired. So before even checking in to the hotel, my brother went and got his MRI! Then she told us that we could have the doppler later this evening, so we checked in and had showers and got something to eat and now just got back from the doppler with Dr. Kostecki.

He said he didn't see any stenosis, but only a slight slowing of flow on the left side. He's going to consult the MRI results and hopefully we find something during the venography on Sunday. This is kind of a let down at this point, and it feels like it's going to be such a long wait for confirmation. Oh well, we'll just enjoy Poland in the meantime I suppose. All the people here are so friendly, and there's a lobby full of CCSVI'ers right now that I'm going to go chat with. There are people from 5 provinces here at the moment!

Far out man.

Hope to keep you updated with results, and I hope that they're positive...for CCSVI.

Whitey and Sindy hope you guys are doing well and on your way to liberation and health.
I got an e-mail from Katherine asking me about my metal dental work and also the MRI s I've had. She asked what kind of metal - ferromagnetic or not) and what was the magnetic power used by MRI scanning - how many Tesla ? 0,5 or 1 or 1,5 Tesla ?
hmmmmm........ gotta ask my dentist and my nuero !!!!!! :?:

Post by WheelieBob »

Going for liberation procedure on September 12. We are very excited. We will probably go to Poland around the 4th and probably stay til the 16th. Please keep the stories coming about your Poland adventure with Dr. Kostecki. We are hanging on every word until it is our turn.

5 people were liberated yesterday, with pretty good results. Mostly return of feeling, and one woman's eyes "came to life". There was one woman from Hungary who did not see any results, and was apparently pretty depressed this morning about lack of results... that is, until she found out that she could stand, unassisted, for the first time in years!

My brother and 4 others had the surgery today (including Sindy's husband). In almost all of the cases the doppler didn't show anything, or very little. The venography shows all, and stenosis was found in all 5. I'm not going to comment much on the others - I'll leave that for them.

As for my brother, there are no immediate results yet. He had to lay down for a number of hours and I wasn't allowed to stay at the hospital with him too late. I'm very happy they were able to find the stenosis. He received angioplasty only, and we're hoping for results to come in the next few days/weeks. His main symptom is fatigue, and that may be hard to judge with the traveling and all...

I'll update when I know more but I must say - There is magic here in Poland! There is hope for us all!

What a great group of friends we have here in Tychy. It's been great to met people from Denmark, Hungary, Holland, UK, US, lots from all over Canada. Then there are3 the many local people at the hotel and Kate's office. We feel like we have a whole new family. It's interesting to meet people that we have met on this page. There will be a web page to tie this time here all together. it will have pictures.
Take heart, we can move mountains when we work together.
Surgery date is July 2nd for Edith

Hi all,

I was treated in Poland and to help someone get an appointment at Tychy would I send to the email listed on page 1 of this thread or how should they get their name on this list?

Thanks for the help, trying to get as many liberated so our voice is strong.

Hi Val. Thats what we did. We sent an email to Kate and she replied within a couple of days for some preliminary info. Then a month later she contacted us with our dates for treatment. We go in Sept It was really easy.

confirmation

Post by solney »

hey there, so i sent my moms info into them after they offered us a spot in semptember or october. am i not to expect a reply to confirm they got my info or to give us an actual date for one month after this? if this is the case then i guess i dont have to check my emails every day :). i guess we were just hoping to have some contact with them so we could feel that we dont need to look any further for treatment. my mother is 25 years into this, and is a 8 edss, so we are anxious as im sure alot of other peolple are. thanks to all of you that post your updates on this site, it has been renewed hope for us when we were pretty much out of it.

Hi all, I did do a post video at 2 weeks post finally. I'm so glad to hear all the wonderful reports from Tychy. Please tell Kate I did email her and give her and Chris a hug for me ok?

As to the results post procedure, please pass on that results can be ones you don't even notice at first, they can be subtle, and it takes time to heal. You have to deal with jet lag, all sorts of things, so I know most of my improvements happened after I came home, and recovered from jet lag. There can always be the issue of permanent damage from long standing problems. No one knows but it's still possible that with time these will ease. Someone messaged me when I was in Poland, 2 steps forward, one step back, to take baby steps. Everyone is different, and the instant 'miracles' that some experience are not the norm.

This is my 2 week post procedure video, I did send kisses to Kate and Chris. Anyone who is going, they are great, you are in good hands. The food is wonderful, take time to enjoy the country a bit if you can.
