I have not been on the forum much recently as I have started a new job and I have a new BABY BOY.

Vincent McArthur, he weighed 9lb 1.5oz and is so adorable.

I have noticed that I am bettersince he was born on Wednesday 30th June and hopefully I now start to asee real improvements. Free of stress and worry now that I have a new baby and a new job.

I also go on holiday in 3 and a half weeks.

So let my body take control!!! :D :D :D

Congratulations on the new boy.

And, from those of us still waiting in line, thanks for the weekly (or periodic) updates -- including in the future.

Congratulations to you for the new baby and new job, Badger. Make sure the Mrs does her share! I'm off to Rutherglen for a doppler next week. Fingers crossed I'm abnormal.

There always has to be a set back. $ weeks into my new job and I was called into the office to speak with a Director. He tells me he has to terminate my contract. :?

How can you if I have just signed a contract for 6 months. He replies that as it is a temporary contract they can terminate it at any time without reason.

So this knocked me from the highest pedestel and had an effect on my MS. The vision in my left eye was completely blurred soon after and I attended an eye surgery clinic in Glasgow. They seen me pretty quickly and precribed 3 doses of Methyl-prednisolone steroids. I visit the hodpital each day for 2 hours to receive them through an IV drip.

I can notice slight improvements already and hope to continue to notice more. It is my last dose of steroids today then I can let my body look after the healing process.

I am also away on holiday next week so I have time to relax in the sunshine with my new baby boy( well I suppose he will be in the shade but you know what I mean!!!)

How your life can change for the better and the worse in a matter of weeks. I am back on the right track though and I can begin the job search again when I return from my holiday. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hello,

I have just returned from holiday in Greece and despite my condition appearing to worsen I have returned to news of May-Thurner-Syndrome and after reading up on it, it seems to tie in with what I thought was purely MS related.

I am up for the challenge, MS is a bit boring on its own!!!!! :P
