I am so thrilled for Barb, Patrick and their son. Can you imagine being given such a gift. To be facing the end of your life and now everyday improving and improving. Off the feeding tube!!! This is so amazing. I wish them all the best.

I want to see her make a miraculous recovery but am I missing some newer/more descriptive information?

Thanks to Jenny for compiling these posts from Patrick from last week. I know many have been thinking of and praying for Barb, since she was flown to the US for her angioplasty. Here's her update from Barrie--
Monday, Barb was moved to a new unit where she can get physio (!)---
"She is being moved to XXXX unit, where she can get the physio and long term care she needs. It's a new, top drawer facility.
Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to the fantastic staff on her floor"
(I put the XXXX in for confidentiality reasons.)"
Tuesday, Barb is in the new facility
"Barb is doing great. The facillity is wonderful and the staff are warm wonderful and the Dr's actually listen to me.
Still going to miss 3NB Folks - superb people!
For visiting, kindly follow the rules and respect Barb's wishes.
Another long day another milestone.
Thanks for all your support.
With Love and Hope

Oh Lyon, admit it, you love the role. Give it some time. Just be thankful that she isn't using a feeding tube any longer.
I didn't put a link but the latest update was on july 9th, 2 days ago. Search the facebook page and you might find it but I reposted it in its entirety earlier in this thread.

What's all this yearning for the golden days of thisisms recently?
I remember it being just the same except everyone was (slightly less) excited about HDC and tovaxin.
