Barb Farrell update
Mangio, you can go ahead and post updates if you find them, otherwise I worry until I find it! But it's all good:
Here is what I found on Facebook:
Here is what I found on Facebook:
Barb continues to improve. Her doc has returned from vacation and describes her improvements as "Dramatic" and the improvement as "amazing".
We have an increased comittment for PHYSIO and OT. Needle
As to say everyone is pleased with Barb's progress. This is "the end of the beginning" to quite Churchill. Off to Wonderlan...d with John toda...y.

Sitting up in a wheelchair!
It says in the article that this is the first time she has sat in a wheelchair in two months. She had spent a month in a hospital bed nearly motionless.

"She's going to be in a chair every day now," says her husband. "She's so much more vibrant now.
"She seems genuinely happy. She seems genuinely motivated."
Because all this is new, it's anyone's guess how far Barb can push the envelope.
But, she says she has more than a fighting chance.
"I feel normal again."

The updates keep coming:
Patrick Farrell Barb Update: She can move her legs on her own ( just a tiny bit) but this ins brand new. One of the nurses who hasn't seen her in weeks was blown away.
So far her neck and swallowing have gotten significantly better, her right and continues to improve and she can move her legs and feet.
My tiny, tough and fiesty lady wants more Physo! She's going to get it!

Re: Incredible
I don't think they were attempting much of anything other than to cover their insured butts. And I guess if nobody dies, no manslaughter either. But it's the thought that counts.Gordon wrote:THIS SHOULD BE DOCUMENTED IN GREAT DETAIL and the powers that be in Ontario charged with attempted murder.
