occilation dilation and contraction of pupils?

the doctor put a light in my eyes and said that the pupils occilate and then said "hmm thats weird, I wonder what that is ". um what is that?

Seriously, it seems to be an abnormal reflex of the pupil, reacting to increased light. Could this be called "pupil spasticity"?
