heya grumpsy how's the zinc thing coming along? and the vertigo? found another snippet for this thread - i WASN'T imagining it. zinc = randy. lol!!

Testosterone levels control both male and female libido

For both males and females libido all comes down mainly to one hormone - testosterone. Your libido is controlled by your hormone levels, with testosterone being the key. If the balance is off, things may not function as they should.
When it's right, everything falls into place. So one of the keys to getting your libido back is to boost testosterone levels in your body.

Testosterone production is dependent on zinc and vitamin B, both of these are abundant in many of the foods we eat regularly. But, as nutritional deficiencies increase with age, it does make sense to increase the intake of these vitamins and minerals...

True enough but what about keeping in shape? It's all very well talking about the best diet but what did it for me was the hard workouts.

Unbeatable for getting your mojo back. You're right though, food is really important and you have to be careful about it.

workouts *definitely* help! rawr ;)
however in my personal anecdotal experience someone can work out and run all they want but small adjustments in hormones based on intakes of things like zinc and lecithin do make a difference in sex drive.

I agree, good topic! being a female, I've found that there are periods of time that I actually go numb inside as well as key areas on the outside. This is hard to accept, because I feel inadequate and not as appealing during those times. However, when I am able to have sex, I usually feel weak, and have muscle cramps in my legs afterward. These symptoms continue through the next day.I tried taking Baclofen straight after, but it did'nt make any difference. I regard these post coital symptoms as a small sacrifice well worth making!

Just take vitamins! That is a much better way to boost you. Or Ginseng, or whatever works for you.

I just wish I wanted it... More so for my wife than me. She is very sex deprived because of me. She is always ready and I have no interest it seems. I have taken zinc and mag but nothing. What a strain this is on our marriage. I mean, I have a good looking, veryattractive wife.... But, I just don't have the urge, PERIOD!

X4 Lew, they gave me some clear testosterone lotion to rub on at night after a shower. I used it for about a week then gradually forgot (?) to put it on till I eventually didn't use it at all. I know, I am a dumbass. Two weeks ago, I started using it again, and again, I am gradually forgeting to put it on...... I know my T was real low, I know I need to use it. BUT,(not blaming the MS) I have a very hard time remembering to use it. I even put it by the bed on my nightstand, and procrastinate (sp) to the point of forgetting to put it on. It seems a simple solution I know, USE IT, JUST DO IT.... But for some reason I don't? I Love my wife and want to see her happy. I just don't put alot of faith in it enough to use it....... Does this make any sense? I am rambling. :(

Ken started it! Bubba, I have a friend that was going through low T and he used Andro gel (probably what you're describing) and it helped in that area a lot. Don't forget dumbass!
