So it's been a little over a year since my 1st doozy of an attack and diagnosis.
I've still got some paralysis in my left hand/arm, and emotional disturbances throw me of kilter for an hour or so, but all in all, I feel that I'm doing better.
I've stopped smoking cigarettes since 6 months ago (though a Polish friend brought me a Nicoraguan cigar about a month ago, I couldn't turn that down!), cut back on my meat consumption and amped up my fresh vegetables. Not *quite* vegan (I make my own kefir, but am about to switch to water kefir instead of milk), but that'll come soon (yes, I'm supplementing my b12 and D3).
I started Gilenya about 3 months ago, and haven't had any noticable side-effects
My juggling is nowhere near my pre-attack levels ( but I can maintain 3 balls in the most basic patterns, so it feels good to get back in it.
I'm currently working on a hydroponic/biodynamic garden system (bokashi-->vermicomposting-->veggies--->edible mushrooms)so my wife and I can have fresh veggies all year round, at which point I'll attempt the Wahl Protocol all-out. If anyone is interested, I'll post photos of the progress as it develops)
In other news, the immigration authority here in Norway has decided that my wife and I are too poor for me to be allowed to stay in the country. A lawyer friend-of-the-family has taken on our case pro bono, and we've filed a complaint against the immigration authority. So I get to stay in Norway for 7 more months while the complaint gets processed, then we'll see what happens from there. In the meantime, I'm not allowed to work or earn income, nor leave the country (even though we live about 5 minutes' drive from the Swedish border)
Anyways, I came back looking up info about linseed/flax oil, and realized I hadn't posted here in a while, so here I am
Be Well.
