Hi Steve-

In relation to an earlier posting, Medicare did put Tecfidera on their formulary and I've been on it for over a year now. Good news is I've had no side effects! I used to be on Rebif and I always felt like I was run over by a Mack truck post injection days. I was concerned about the stomach/intestinal issues a lot of people have on Tecfidera, but I've been fortunate with none. I go for an MRI on Tuesday and that will no doubt tell the tale of any disease progression. Will keep you all posted on how that turns out. All the best switching meds.

For anyone starting tecfidera please take my advice:
something like omeprazole really helps with GI problems and a 75mg aspirin with each 240mg dose of tecfid takes away all the flushing. good luck - its not an easy drug but i am beginning to feel after 4 months it could be worth it.
