Jimmylegs...too much vitamin d = ouch?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Hi scott1,

Nope. I'm pretty firmly entrenched in infectious causes and stubbornly won't be swayed in other directions until I've fully explored the possibilities...well, I won't likely explore so fully as to try antibiotics again. Been there. Done that. Got the tshirt that says "abxs suck."

Taurine (of which I know nothing) might be related but maybe taurine issues are caused by chronic infection(s)?

Are you having luck with taurine supplementation?

Be well. :)

Hi Anonymoose,

I haven't tried supplementation but my recent reading seems to come back to it. It's a sulfur containing amino acid that boosts the production of GABA which shares a common pathway with the Baclofen that I'm using with some success. As you have been talking about Epsom salts which will provide supplemental magnesium and sulfur I thought you may have looked at it. It's one of the precursors to L-Carnitine but its B6 dependent.
I have a funny feeling we should know a lot more about it.

Regards
