Chlamidia trachomatis and MS

Post by justi5 »

Can Wheldon / Stratton CAP be helpful for PPMS caused by chlamidia trachomatis. Previously I used such antibiotics as Rifampin, Azitromicin, Doxycycline, without herx reaction. And afraid about the resistance. With which kind of antibiotics can I replace?
Backstory - started feeling symtoms of MS 3 weeks ago, previously I had reactive arthritis caused by chlamidia trachomatis.

Hi,
It's unclear from your post whether you have been diagnosed with MS or not. Have you been diagnosed or are you assuming you may have MS?
If you only have a diagnosis of a chlamydia trachomatis infection and it is not responding to treatment, it might be better to ask your doctor.
I don't believe either protocol focussed on treating the infection you have. You would need to consult doctors using that approach to see if it is reasonable to apply the same approach. They are long term treatments so a doctors advice would seem prudent.
Regards,
