This looks remarkably encouraging, especially to talk about a reduction in the EDSS scores of people with progressive MS. I was perplexed about the mention of " blood letting" though,

Epoe increases the number of red blood cells in your total blood count. The way I understand it, this causes your blood to thicken and can causes some nasty symptoms and even death. The condition is known as Polychytemia Vera. It is usually easily treated with blood lettings. I know this because on one of my blood tests my RBC came back higher than normal and this was all explained to me. Thankfully I was just dehydrated and further test were normal. Atheletes use various, usually illegal ways to temporarily increase their RBC because the blood will carry more oxygen

I don't think it is too promising though, but maybe further research, mainly regarding application and dosage would help. See also my posting below under "Small EPO trial".
