relapse vs. progression?

Post by brianm »

Can somebody explain the difference? Once progression starts from a relapse does it ever stop or slow down?

I can't tell you. It's a chicken egg thing I think. I never really had a period of getting better once it started but they still classified me RRMS.

do original symptoms usually stay eventually? My last MRI in oct. showed no enhancement my neuro was happy about that but couldnt that be spms? my original symptoms that used to remit seem to be here to stay cause I do have more lesions then 3yrs ago which was my last MRI. Nothing is enhancing is that bad or good?
