THC - the major active chemical in MJ, is a vasodilator. It opens up the blood vessels and allows for good circulation. That's why you get red eyes when you toke...the blood vessels open up.
For folks that respond to MJ, look into all the vasodilators...niacin, exercise, supplements (that's the stuff I write about in my paper.)
MJ needs to be legalized NOW.

I'd grow it in my garden window that's what would be different in my world.
I know who to get it from but am terrified of getting someone in trouble. I requested it one time, and my friend did not remember the time we were to meet so did not show; I was terrified for her, in my mind she had been pulled over and thrown in jail for dealing, all because I asked her to get some from someone she knew, putting them all at risk.
bleh. I was exhausted by the whole thing realized I am not the type to be comfortable with the illegal angle and bailed on it. But if it was legal, I'm on it tomorrow to see what it does. I live in Washington state where it is technically legal for medical use but not really because of the federal laws; you can still be caught and prosecuted. The worse problem is making my friends be dealers, that is the big thing.
I'd like to try it though, and for crying out loud who the heck says we "should" suffer every minute of this darned disease? what kind of sick mind insists that people not have relief? In what world do any of us deserve this and thus should not get a "get out of jail free" card? I get really tired of pointy heads on TV talking about "depressed patients that should get proper treatment" meaning pharma for depression as the answer to why we "want" MJ.
Rant and rave....sorry

Yeah, like every three months!!! LOL! I can tell you that you probably need to be financialy secure and not in need of a job. LOL
I can tell you what my boss would say
BTW... Hydroponic weed is always going to be the best or most potent weed you can buy.

"Medical grade" is basically just TLC cared for weed. If you know where to look, you can get it, but Chris is right, the compressed Mexican street weed is still good compared to back in the day, but the stuff that can be on it should be avoided. I had a bud that worked for the county I live in as their botanist. He didn't even smoke but was fascinated by the way you could create really strong weed very quickly by cloning plants and all that stuff. Well he had a goal of making a million, tax free dollars and then quitting. It was good for a long while, but he did it and he really just quit. I was getting the stuff that would be like $70 - $80 a 1/4 oz. for like $35. It was very strong and very "clean". Since it's not legal even with an Rx in Ohio, I just get it from a releable source who grows themselves. Street weed is just such a mixed bag (pun intended)!
MJ
Like Grumpster MJ makes the walking worse. But it does an excellent job for the other symptoms and helps with mood as well. I've used it for many many many years, long before MS and often wondered if that had something to do with MS, cause of the pesticides and stuff. But not a single one of the FDA approved drugs come with out side effects; so pick your poison!
Someday I'll move out west and won't be a criminal. If I were to get into legal trouble, I'll be the 1 to take to the supreme court for y'all !!!!! Let the doctors decide on the medicine not the government!
