While we have a lax law on possesion (100g is only a civil citation like a speeding ticket), we are still pretty puritan and won't get to the medical MJ until about 40 other states have. I'd kill to be able to grow my own and save the money. While possesion is pretty lax as stated above, if you get caught growing, it's still a felony.

I hear that in California, the dispensary's carry different kinds of cannibas for different illnesses. I wonder which is the best strain for MS?

That is something I'd think would have to be discovered by trial and error. I don't think any studies are coming anytime soon! .The only thing that I notice is that if it's so good that you can only tolerate a couple of hits, then it can get too strong and start to make you weak temporarily. However, that could just be me. Like the incredibly variable world of MS, I think different strains could affect everyone differently, so I think you'd have to experiment.

thanks for all the help. You are all very brave. I live in Oregon where the state says things are legal...at least for now, however, the program is totally different from california. Here people have to grow their own and if they don't know anyone else to help them then they are sol.
I know I came across an article about cannibas actually helping to re-mylate rather than just deal with symptoms. I will try to find it amd post it. I think it might have come out of Great Britain. Both the UK and Canada have legalized medical cannibas for MS....I'm a member of NORML so I'll try to pass on anything you might be interested in. Sativa, Indica????guess its time to call on one them youngins.

vaporizers

Post by reneelucia »

I just got one to the tune of 450.00 but amazing in that there is no more smoke to hurt the lungs. Looks very medical, not cool at all but it can stay on all night so I can breath through the long rubber tube and go right back to sleep. better than pain pills, muscle relaxers, etc.
