Rubber hands

Post by 71jules »

Hi does anyone get what feels like rubber hands?
My hands have been like this for ages and i really notice it when I am trying to wash my hair.
It feels weird and it is distressing.
I have had it a bit in my feet too.
I also as weird as this sounds felt as though my teeth have been numb when i chew, like I can't feel them.
Thanks for listening.

I have this feeling right now in my feet. It gets better and worse throughout the day. I always have numb finger tips but other than that I don't have the feeling in my hands.

Thanks guys, it's horrid isn't it? I really feel like I am going to be diagnosed with MS but then I think no way not me.
The symptoms are so like MS I feel I could diagnose it myself if you know what I mean.

I don't know how long the wait will be to find out for sure whether I do 100% have it or not.
From what people have said it can take years. Already been about 3 years with symptoms but only months under the suspision of having it.

Take care.

Good night.

Jules remember, whether you have or don't have MS you're life isn't over. Just keep trying to live your life the best you can and what will be, will be. That's what this site helps me to do. Take care :)

Have you tilted your bed yet Jules?

I ask because if you are sleeping with your hands near your face while on an inclined bed it can affect your nerves and cause some dysfuction, namely numbness, tingling etc.
