How can I contact someone in Italy or in Greece to do the appropriate tests?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I am in the UK. What may work is to find a good doppler technician, ask him/her to study the Zaboni/Simka protocolas (downloadable from the research thread on this site) and see if they can try one on you.

I am sure there are Zaboni-trained radiologists in Ferrara, but have no idea how to reach them!

Hi.

I live in Patra, Greece. We have been looking for it with my radiologist, who has studied in Italy. We haven't come to a very accurate conclusion yet and the Ferrara team is quite reluctant in giving inforamtion. PM me if you want to discuss further details.

I would like to rectify some information given in this topic.

1. Zamboni's e-mail address is now zambo@unife.it.
2. In the paper he published on the J Vascular Surgery in late Nov 2009 there are clear instructions regarding the machine his group used and how to conduct the Doppler study.
3. Paolo Zamboni told me recently that he cannot treat new patients at present, although he has obtained permission to treat patients with re-occurrence of the venous obstructions. There is no point therefore to contact Zamboni while the restrictions he is suffering are still in place.

Thank you for the information.

Please if you can inform us when these restrictions go away.

I thought that he is receiving hundred of e-mails every day so it is sensible not to have the time to answer personally to all of us.

I am sorry I didn't know the fact of restrictions!!!

I just got my email today telling me he couldn't help. I'm still waiting to hear from Poland. I emailed him only a week ago.
