I sent Dr S the email and attachment from Tomasz Ludyga...part of Dr S's response was

"...Do answer Dr Ludayga's office if this date [in Feb] is OK, since at the moment scheduling is done by the administration. M. Simka"

The email address used was Dr Simka's. This seems to indicate a coordinated approach by the 2 doctors.

Fiddler....you are correct I did not get a specific response to the validility of the email.......but having sent the original Ludyga email to Dr S for his comment, his response was: respond to it if you want the treatment in February...I will try and contact the office on Monday ...nonetheless 'my heart soars like an eagle' at the imminent operation

I spoke by phone with Dr S today (Monday) and he confirmed that the details sent out by Dr Ludyga are correct... I also received an additional email from the Patient Coordinator for Euromedic Poland stating, among other items, that :

"The payment should be performed before arrival (please include your name in the topic of the payment) or upon arrival."

This appears to give a choice as to when to pay, it also should be noted that 5 days accommodation, with an accompanying person, is included, as is transportation from the airport (either Katowice or Cracow) to the hotel as well as transportation to the medical facilities. The inclusion of the transportation is probably very helpful, as there have been many posts requesting info on what is where etc...

I would imagine that with the overwhelming response Dr S is getting that a new level of organisation was needed.

payment before and at higher rate?

I am not complaining, but at the same time I am not happy with the new prices (more than fifty percent over what we were told, or pay in advance scenario for a package this late.
It complicates things for the patients.

I haven't received any other emails from Poland yet but I did respond to Dr Ludyga's email.
