Hi Emi,
I just sent a quick confirmation of his response repeating my contact info. The other things I thought I'd wait until I had a date. What's an MS epicrisis? I think you need those things when you go.

Ok! thank you very much for your answer! I don't know what is the ms epicrisis, in the mail it was write:
"Requirements for the diagnostics and treatment of patients with CCSVI, which can be performed in Sofia, Bulgaria at a Bulgarian hospital, specializing in the field of cardio-vascular diseases, are as follows:
1. Patient should be diagnosed with MS through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
2. He or she should have his MS epicrisis translated into English.
3. Conclusions by a consulting neurologist should give the objective status of the present condition of the patient.
4. Patient should have a health insurance.
5. Upon hospitalization patient should give in writing his/her agreement to undergo the needed procedures for diagnostics and treatment."
but I don't know what does it mean!!

Ramble away! It's natural to be excited especially when you feel like you're not getting anywhere with the doctors in your own town. It's great that your brother will go with you (gotta love family).Vhoenecke wrote:I have to be honest that this is the first time I feel some hope since my diagnosis. I have such a good feeling about going there. I am so thankful that my brother will come with me. It will be good to have someone there to help me get to and from hosp and airport. I will get to see a different country. My dad died from this disease and his family is from Russia and Kiev Ukraine. I will love to see Eastern Europe. My dad always wanted to go there. Sorry, I ramble but I am so excited.![]()

Where in India would you go? Have they performed this type of surgery before, or are they happy to do itwithout having done it before?
I know a little bit about India, and wondered..

Now the trick is to find out as much as possible about our good doctors in Bulgaria.
The Apollo Hospital is starting. I believe they have performed some surgeries, but there is a group of i think 16 Canadians going at the end of March. All booked through Surgical Tourism Canada. $24,000 Can$.
They are not taking any more reservations for future trips until after this group has returned to Canada.
