I am sorry to hear of your friend lost to ALS too, Billmeik. My favourite Auntie died of it 9 years ago. I started looking at any Lyme connection in "MS" shortly before she died, and wondered at a possible connection to ALS. My Auntie lived in Connecticut - not far from Lyme. It is a brutal disease. Give me "MS" any day.
