Naw, only when I want to go off on an angry rant. What unhinged me was reading comments from some of the presenters at the conference on the implications of one of their pet ultrasound studies which proves that CCSVI doesn't cause MS, which proves that there is no need to proceed with treatment trials.

Really, what are they afraid of?

We submitted 3 studies for the ECTRIMS. None of them were allowed to be presented. I wonder how many such papers from other centers were also rejected.

No such a need. One study is already accepted for publication in a good neurological journal, and the remaining 2 papers are under review. But you can imagine how profoundy biased is the ECTRIMS and its scientific committee

Actually that's exactly why I asked if you'd be willing to post them, so that we could form our own opinions and not have to imagine.
That's asking a bit much doncha think Lyon? He's supposed to jeopardize the publication of his research in peer-reviewed journals just because some anonymous bloke on a web forum called him on it? We will just have to wait to read these papers in the journals where, when and if they appear and, until then, suspend our condemnation of ECTRIMS scientific committee. These are serious allegations, if proven true. Hopefully, they will be investigated. Because if true, this is shameful conduct.

Congrats on the acceptance of the paper in a neurological journal.
If ECTRIMS is biased, it is not a surprise, but it is a disappointment.

Science will win out over politics.
