I have never taken a PPI, but wonder if it is a product of the array of other MS meds I've taken.

My partner has terrible constipation problems, but when her stomach is taped with this stuff her reliance of laxatives almost disappears and her bowels perform much more normally.
It basically helps fluid movement, hence it's use in rehabilitating athletic injury and why, during the Olympics you saw athletes covered in the stuff.
