I am and thank god I am. Since my first issue at 19 I have been hitting the gym on the regular.

I am 5 9 170, very very fit. I can do 16+ wide grip pull ups my first set, bench 225 a solid 6 to 8 times etc etc. I can only imagine how much harder this would be if it wasnt for that.

Everything is starting to get the feeling back so hopefully another week or 2 and itll just be the past for me. My legs are way more responsive to touch, itches, pain etc.

The soles of my feet feel numb with pins and needles.

Now the only issue is the more and more I start to get more feeling in my abdomen I have noticed it is very TIGHT. Its like a giant cramp all day and only stops when I sit or stand on certain angles. It is not painful just annoying as usual. My lower back feels the same too.

I really appreciate you all trying to make sense of what is inexplainable. One of the main reasons I am not afraid of this disease is that we dont know why, what, or when something will happen next.

That responsiveness in the legs is a classic neurological symptom. Sort of a heightened response rather than none at all. I'd look at a lot of stretching (a la pilates style) plus see if you can roll out the sole of the foot on a spiky ball. My guess is you will find the rotation through the hips will start to be affected and as the hamstrings start to tighten the gait changes. All can be worked on but it's not traditional gym work. Do keep stretching.
Is the tight abdomen an all over cramp or does it feel like a cramp dominates down one side and pushes toward the bladder? Is it more one sided than the other? Do you feel you have normal bowel movements?
I understand your concerns. Some of us have a few tricks. Imagine you are peeling an onion. It's one layer at a time and a good life is possible.

Regards

Now it seems to be more responsive like you are saying. The "pins and needles" seem much nore intense especially in my feet. My muscles are very tight including my legs. I literally feel like I had the most insane leg/ab workout that is leaving me sore as hell.

I do need to start stretching and doing yoga. Thats the one proactive thing I have not done yet.

My stomach and back is one giant overall cramp feeling. But it is all still kinda numb so I am worried it might hurt pretty bad if I had proper feeling back. But I will gladly take pain over this stoopid numb crap.

I do have normal bowel movements. But I 100 percent have way way way way less control over it. I have enough control to where I am not worried but I really cant feel whats happening there. I could def stop anything from happening if i didnt want it to...... "pinch it off" if you know what I mean........ lmao

I am def having as good of a life as possible. It is what it is and I dont change anything because of this disease. I wont let it win. I know whatever happens it will be over eventually. It will go back into "remission" or symptom free and I will build my body back up. I went through over 10 symptoms last year at once and got my body to 110 percent within a few months after. So this will be easy and time will do the healing.

Now I know, the day that it doesnt ever stop (spms) will turn me into an angry hateful cigarette smoking monster. But at 25 now, I am confident and hopeful they will cure it before that day comes for me.

On the legs first- Think of your legs as starting on the soles of your feet and going up not starting at the hips and going down. Having said that, both ends are important. If your feet are affected then so will be the tendons and muscles around the Achilles, then calves, then the hamstrings, adductors, hip flexors etc. You have to isolate the lot and work each group independently. Don't let the big muscles do the work. The little ones have to be exercised. That's why I do Pilates to get that work. A big group class is a waste of time, only go in a class with a maximum of four. You need to find someone, ideally with a dance background, who has done a course that takes 100s of hours not just a person who says they have taught a lot. In Australia there's Pilates international and some Polestar graduates. Most of the others are not as well trained. You want a real Pilates person not a physio or a sportsperson who just fell into it. The idea is movement.
On the stomach - don't assume it's MS. It sounds like the intestines are having a full on cramp. They are supposed to be soft. There's miles of the stuff all jammed into a little package and they sometimes look like they are running in opposite directions. If the whole thing cramps then the different sections crush each other and it isn't pleasant. I'd suggest you get tested for stomach bugs. Look for lyme, mycoplasmas and all the other stuff I mentioned I had covered in my post. Most can be treated with antibiotics and they may be the cause of the problem. If you want to blame MS then it will be due to a leaky gut which means we can end up with pathogens that help make symptoms hard to classify. You need to get rid of them. They won't go by themselves.
Also add a really good probiotic into your regimen. You will need it anyway.

Regards

I will definetly add a probiotic, thanks.

My legs are slowly but surely getting all the feeling back.

My stomach and lower back are still so tight and just crushing me. If it is ms related it seems to be the "hug". It feels like some1 is crushing me completely around my body.... stomach, hips, and back.

I went to a walk in clinic today and got checked really fast and my stomach and back seem pefectly fine to his touch and check up. It feels like my muscles are being squeezed and they are hard/tight but the doctor said it feels completely normal. If it persists over the weekend I am going to call my neuro.
