Think about our Fluid Compartments
If we have intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid the interchanges between these must be massive…
Ie if you weigh 120lbs
Your body moves 120lbs across cell walls daily.
Two thirds of the body's water is held inside of cells.
The remainder is extracellular.
What is extracelluar?, is it called interstitial fluid?
The fluid that surroundings tissue cells bathing them in a solution of nutrients and other chemicals. "Blood Plasma" and smaller amounts of transcellular fluid such as ocular and cerebrospinal fluids in the transcellular compartment.
The interstitial and intravascular compartments readily exchange water and solutes but the third extracellular compartment the transcellular is thought of as a separate from the other two and not in dynamic equilibrium with them . ??????
Holy cow…
You follow any of this?????
You follow blood brain barrier vs gila cells and neuron? You follow where your Amyloid plaques cant' talk to their oxygen any longer?
Dr. Zamboni cleans a vein. People feel better.
Must be oxygen.
Oxygen is first. 2 to 4 min or your brain is dead.
Think football player sucking it.
Glucose is good. But not first.
How does this work?
How does your interstitial fluid fit in?
What it the name for it?
We have an endocrine system but something like 1/3 of my fluid in my body is extracellular. What is the name for it? What is that called?
How does a small lymph system for the brain that has been recently discovered matter if 1/3 of my fluid is part of some system that is unnamed?
How does this work?
What crosses what?
What is a blood brain barrier? When lymph cross is it? More importantly Cece, why can you see better after your veins have been opened by a doctor? Is it more oxygen to your brain? This is really interesting to me? Is it general brain profusion?
What is the extracellular fluid in relationship to the brain, the brains lymph system, the glia cells, the blood brain barrier, the arteries, the veins, the the CSF? Help….
Sorry I am dumb….but I hope I am not annoying
