Please call Opexa! Please let us know what they say. At the least, when you hang up you will not know any less than you know now.

And if they know something but can't tell you something, at least you'll know that as well, which actually IS something, even if it's nothing.

When I first joined the Tovaxin trial, I had many questions about MRTCs because, when I was screened, I tested negative the first time and positive the second time.

Tim sent me a message that said

I would be 99+% sure that the company will make vaccine from you blood. As you pointed out, the company is not going to use money in instances where they think they are not going to get results.

I am waiting for someone to pose the question -- if they cannot make vaccine will they put you in the placebo group? They are making vaccine for everyone. Whether or not you get your vaccine is randomly determined. After 12 months, you get the vaccine for sure. Because of that, if they cannot make vaccine, they cannot have you in the study."

Essentially, I think that what Tim has said in the past is that unless you took something that "masked" or suppressed your MRTCs or, unless you really were receiving the real vaccine and now you are no longer producing MRTCs, Opexa will be able to make a vaccine for you in the extension study.


Av8rgirl, I think only people working at Opexa (not the staff at your trial site) really would be able to answer the type of questions that we still have about MRTCs.
