A while back I was turned down for the Revimmune study because of the extent of the neurological damage from over 20 years of chronic progressive MS. Don't RRs get damage to their nervous system and brains that need repairs too? Is it just that the damage is much less, and manageable? I'm not sure what else is out there.

My blood pressure went up after I was dx with MS. I wonder if there is a connection? Both my parents have hypertension, so most likely heritiary. I know after each baby I had, my pressure kept getting higher. very strange since I was not out of shape or heavy.
I also have been reading how most people with MS are low on vit D. I don't see how CCSVI could be part of that. Maybe someone here might know.

Guitarguy -- I came across this idea expressed by a layperson--no scientific proof for it that I know of: In Ayurvedic medicine, sunshine is supposed to be good for a person's circulation. Other Ayurvedic remedies, as cinnamon and ginger, have been proven in modern medical studies to be natural blood thinners. It is possible that sunshine may also thin the blood.
This article reports a study that found a "clinical trial of a biologically active metabolite of vitamin D3 demonstrated an unanticipated reduction of thrombosis in cancer patients."

Just food for thought.

Thank Lyndacarol for that vitamin-d link. Been reading lots of vitamin d things for long time. This was something new - and maybe explains part of why D has good effect for MS.
