Has your doctor prescribed you anything for the fevers? Like I said, I was running them daily until I finally had a huge 2 week dose of Flagyl and Tetracycline. I have not had any fevers since then (except an occasional one from my Rebif), which was about 4 months ago now. I would suspect that you need to at least try some antibiotics.

Well can I really pick up a virus every month! Is that really possible! Can my immune system be that crazy,I'm 29 years old. I swear after I gave birth Pandora's box opened up!!
Unlikely, I would have thought! Actually, for years I thought that I kept going down with a virus, so did my GP who constantly said that antibiotics would not help.
A chronic bacterial infection, especially Cpn will constant,y re-emerge and appear like flu or a bad cold, or just make you cough all winter.
Nobody knew that Cpn was pathogenic when I first developed MS. Now some people do, therefore after years of coughing and spluttering every winter, then finally hardly being able to walk and with a paralysed arm, I have had no MS episode for over six years, my arm is totally recovered and I no longer seem to get colds.

It was just suttle and I was able to take Ibufrofen or Tylenol and it would stay down and then now it is just worst and coming more days in month than before !! Im going to go get the papers from the hospital and show him when I sought help, the first time so he can see its been to long, and OMG i want to go to school, I cant feel like this and complete school, jeez!

But it can occur whenever it wants! Has anybody experienced this or talk to a doctor and got a better explanation, or was the first doc right in telling me numerous virues. Is my imune system that messed up,hope not, lol.
Question for you: How high does your temp get?
***
Something to rule out (you are female, right?): normal monthly temp changes. About the time of ovulation, your average temp will go up about half a degree, sometimes more. Also, your body's temp varies throughout the day. So on an afternoon right after you've ovulated, you might have a temp in the 99's somewhere (oral) that is high enough to make you feel feverish. Not so much because it is that high of a temp, but because your body was used to being a degree or so cooler.
Anyway, this may or may not apply. But it is one cause of intermittent low fever that is totally harmless and nothing to worry about. Won't necessarily happen every month, but it will typically happen in the last 10-17 days before your next period. [Don't count from start of your cycle -- the first half of your cycle is prone to wide variation. You are counting forward to the start of your next one.]

You no Jen, my Doc asked me and gave me that same info.ive really not done any research on that, im not sure if that would even apply, unless it can make your internal tempture gage really messed up as well!! The cold affects me different since this has started !! And i have not taken my temp. during any of these episodes but i bought a new thermometer and i will start recording my temp. thanks

How to know if it is ovulation-related:
Take your temp every morning when you first get up, before you are up and around and have anything to eat/drink. What you are looking for is a jump of about 4/10ths of a degree. You'll see something along the lines of bouncy-bouncy-bouncy temps from your period forward, then temps settle down a bit for about a week, then an upward shift. The shift may happen all in one jump, or it may climb slowly over several days or a week. It may continue to go higher after the 4/10th's of a degree mark. Will probably drop again right before your period.
If you get up at different times, just make a note of the time when you record the temp. Typically (you may or may not be typical) your waking temp will go up 1/10th of a degree for each hour later in the day. So adjut for that if you sleep in one day, or wake up super early the next. And yeah, if you have wacky sleep patterns, you may or may not be able to do this. Try it and see.
FYI, I always do not feel feverish upon ovulating. But sometimes I do. It's just the right combination of air temps and my body and how I'm feeling and who-knows-what that does it to me.

If watching your morning temps doesn't work for you, let me know, I can give you some other things to look for that are tip-offs ovulation is about to occur or has occurred. (Cheap things that don't require buying any special kit, or having a baby nine months later, lol.)

(BTW this does not work if you are using any kind of hormonal birth control. But barrier methods wouldn't interfere with temps.)
