Hi, THANK YOU very much for the energy. I am alive.
The way back home was bad. I just wanted to faint and vomit but here I am.

It was very importnant trip:

1. I met prof Stvrtinova - she knows Dr. Simka. She wants to spread the information about CCSVI among doctors. She is thinging about invating Dr. Simka to Slovakia to inform doctors. Great!
She did not manage so far to ask the MR center to install SWI.

2. After I went to another hospital to have an MRV. They had 1,5 Tesla MR, no SWI. My results were of course negative, but I have sent the CDs to Dr. Schelling, Dr. Simka and to Dr. Valasek already. It is good I have negative results. I need the papers for the health insurance company to ask them to pay for the OP in Poland. There must be written: It is not possible to diagnose neither treat this problem in Slovakia. So I have first necessary paper!

3. After I had Doppler. The doctor wanted to see my veins because about 10 days ago he was in Lisbon and he had chance to listen to Dr. Dake“s speech abou CCSVI. There was one more doctor from Prague. He could not find anything strange with my veins but he knows there must be something. I was really lucky!
Of course I asked him to install the SWI software . I am going to send him an e-mail. Also prof Stvrtinova wants me to inform her.

OK, so now doctors in Slovakia at least know, they do not have to do CT, MRV without SWI, Doppler without special training to the patients.
Doppler will be also very important in Slovakia - because of money.
I did not have to pay anything. My insurance company did.

So, of course Dr. Simka was right at the beggining with me. He wanted the doctors in Slovakia to do the phlebography to me. I wanted it as well. Dr. Simka knew they would not find anything like that.
I will send him an e-mail and ask him to do all "fun" in Poland.

A neurologist in my little town is also interested in CCSVI. She wants to go back to England. She is very good at English. Anyway, I want an MRI before the OP so I will go to see her.

Way to hang in there! That was a big and very important day! I hope you can get some rest today. That kind of 'excitement' would put me down for a couple of days. Take care.

Wow Erika, you are a busy girl!! It is a problem when it seems that only certain people can recognise the CCSVI problem. I hope that Dr Z et al teach the other vascular specialists how to identify the problems.

But look at how interesting this is that through patient activism it is now KNOWN that this is very hard to see easily. Can you imagine if scads of doctors thought mistakenly it was easy (Dr Zamboni did suggest it is rather simple procedure in his papers) and thus rejected it?

Doppler.

I do not know where to place it, but it is important for everybody.
Dr. Simka sent me an e-mail last night with instructions for USG.
It is over 7 MB so I placed it on my web site, just click on "Doppler"

Dr. Simka wrote me exactly this: "If you can and want, feel free to distribute these instructions to everybody who might need them."

So, yes, it is public, of course.
