For the sake of some friends who are waiting to get on Dr. Simka's list, could someone please tell me if Dr. Kostecki is only doing CCSVI assessments, or is he doing liberation treatments as well. Secondly, I have seen his name (and e-mail) spelled as kostecki and kosteckj in this forum... could someone please let me know which is correct? Thank you.

His correct name is Dr. Jacek Kostecki.
His correct e-mail is: kosteckj@op.pl
Yes, it is without "i". "J" is for his first name.
Maybe you should ask him what he does. I do not think there are many Polish patients here.
Good luck!
Erika

Thanks

Thank you for clearing that up, Asia.

But does anyone know what Dr. Kostecki is (or will be) doing?

I only know for sure he knows how to do Doppler because he was doing my first Doppler in August last year. Dr. Simka was sitting next to him.
It was in hospital in town Tychy, not far from Katowice.
Maybe somebody else knows more?

hi Fiddler,
here is what i received from Dr. Kostecki last week. i have not heard back from him since.

Dear Ceci
We can do test for CCSVI ( Colour Doppler Ultrasound and MRI) and endovascular procedure if necessary.
I wll give you more information soon,
Sinceraly
Jacek Kostecki

so i say he is doing it all.
What i am trying to figure out is how many times? I am on Simka's waiting list for May, but if Kostecki could do it sooner- i might just go for it.

cheers
-ceci

I will post again right when i hear from him again :D

hi Edser,

I posted some time ago but had problems logging in since. I am on the list for April 2010 for the liberation treatment. I am convinced of this as my brother suffers from sticky blood and has had blood clots in veins in his legs.

I only joined the site around the end of November and e-mailed Dr Simka around that time so I havent got a firm date or time yet.

glad you are doing well

Maureen

Thank you

Edser, that is fantastic. I'm so so pleased to hear how well you are doing. This is very encouraging....

Are you going to post this great news on www.ms-ccsvi-uk.org page. If you don't want to do it have you got any objections to me telling people there?

Good for you Edser. My husband has started physio again, and she says the same to him: heel to toe. He's quite frustrated by that, as the action is beyond him.
