The caplets I take are 100mg Mg each. They’re fairly large. Do you know the dosage/tablet for the Burman’s tablets? That info is absent from that site. If they were actually 400mg each, then they would be huge! I would be wary about buying supplements from a site without full disclosure of the supplement’s ingredients.

i noticed that these are often over the counter items, but now i am also seeing issues not just with omeprazole, but also with ranitidine. this is looking like a candidate alternative to both:

Yeah, I'm screwed with that I guess. Excessive sweating is a symptom of Omeprazole, testosterone therapy, and this new med....so doomed there I guess. No way of knowing which one is causing it or all three now.

Yeah, I've read about this too. But darned if I do, darned if I don't. No way around PPI's for me with my ridiculous reflux condition.
What's killing me more than anything though lately is the chronic constipation. Been dealing with this now actually going on 2 years but the past several months it's been in overdrive. Nothing I do or take helps except a handful of laxatives to force clear myself out every other week.
If I don't stay on top of that, I get these terribly painful attacks of stomach and intestinal pain and severe bloating.
Not even regular stool softeners works. Yes, I drink plenty of water. It has to be straight laxatives. I can't eat fiber rich foods like many vegetables because they set my IBS and pain through the roof. Most veggies today are my cryptonite. I probably should get on a steady diet of fiber supplements but I'm concerned how my gut will react to those too.
On the waiting list to see a gastroenterologist now too. Never ending parade of medical appointments these days.

ok this is going to sound ridiculous but here goes: I have to strongly recommend magnesium as a laxative!
so, since you definitely need something
for reflux, please consider zantac 360 which doesn't have the mineral depletion, sweating, or kidney damage reported for omeprazole.
https://www.rxlist.com/zantac-360-drug.htm#description
to help fight cramp/charlie horse, neuropathic pain,
constipation, and more; also to replace likely chronically depleted tissue stores of magnesium, please consider
supplemental magnesium alongside zantac 360.
personally, to strike the right balance i have to combine a soluble, absorbable form like magnesium glycinate with a more laxative form like plain magnesium oxide.
with the right blend of supplemental magnesium, i would expect you to find a balance that works for you.
'pro' tip: stay close to a toilet as you test daily increases in supplemental mag!
