Hi Ac

Thanks so much for the link & info. I am doing ok & I can see that your hubby has great support from you - that is the most important thing.

Rev. Martin Luther King has a special place in the hearts of all South Africans (and immigrants to this beautiful country) because of the racial history here and the struggle for equality, the past human rights violations, and the new democracy (14 years in April) we are now privilaged to have.
So I commend you on honouring such a courageous man, and commend your country on not only producing on of the most articulate orators of all time, but a truly wonderful hero, someone with integrity and peace in his heart.

We have a similar hero here - his name is Nelson Mandela - he is perhaps not as articulate (English is not his first language!), but is really brave and stalwart in serving his people.

Hi - I am a newbie but recall that there have been recent advances in testing intrathecal compounds on mice. I'm not sure if this is what is being referred to but I do know that researchers were hopeful that they would be able to faster and easier test compounds this way.

Unfortunately my daughter had numerous typical and non-typical MS symptoms for about 3 years before she was diagnosed. She then seemed to have a relapse every year at recital time (she owns a dance school). The supplements have cleared up her symptoms and he lesions were fading at her last MRI (Feb.) The supplements were for strep bacteria infection and a weak immune system. (Is that really the cause? Who the heck knows! But then, who the heck cares?? As long as it is helping and it is affordable, why not?)

The main reason I have a problem with the autoimmune theory is that there are now over 240 autoimmune diseases. I am inclined to believe this is a reaction to an action rather than a cause. Just my opinion of course!
