Dude I love the pictures. It gives us all a face and some identity to add to something more than just your handle, and since I love to fish, I loved the boat! My brand of boat is an OP.
That stands for Other Peoples boats! I used to go to the Everglades every year with my Grandfather and we would get tired from catching redfish and snook and all the rest of the stuff you catch in the brackish water. It gave me the bug for fishing for life. Of course there's nothing in Ohio like that, but I've caught a few good bass or two in my day, so keep putting the pics out there!

The pic of me on page 21 or 22 is in Cow bayou on Sabine lake. Funny thing about that place is you may catch Redfish,Flounder,Speckled Trout, or a Bass. Really one of he Gulf coasts hidden fishing hot spots. I have caught over 200 specs or Speckled Trout and enough reds to fill the boat. The only problem is the Tx limit on redfish is three within a slot size of 20"-28". Thanks arti

We would go to an area called the ten thousand islands where the glades meet the Gulf. It was pretty cool. Droves and droves of mangrove alleys and everything looked the same. I have no idea how my Grandfather didn't get us lost all the time (pre gps days). We didn't have a red limit down there and there were times you'd run into a school and every person in the boat would have a good red on. Nothing better than a 4-5 lb pissed off redfish 
. We'd catch those trout all the time too. I assume you're talking about the ones with the long, fragile teeth. They didn't fight you like a red, but they were some good eating. I also remember getting close to out by the gulf and fishing for small black tips. You could tell they were around when you'd be bringing in a fish, it would stop fighting, and all you had on your jig was a fish head with blood dripping off of it! That shit was fun for a teenaged landlubber.

These fish were caught in La. not Tx. they have a different limit on there fish. Jimmylegs here is a fish fix for ya ey

You gotta a great life. I love the gulf. So many colors, so much vibrancy. My brother Jason lived there, in Sarasota...he was an RN, amazing guy. He died last September in a motorcycle accident. He was 40, a dad, a chef, an incredible brother.
He taught me how much attitude matters in health and healing. He had alot of MS patients. Jason would say you are doing all the right stuff..enjoy your incredible family and home and all your toys!

Brad whatever you do for work if it involves camping and you get paid, I think I made a definte mistake in jobs.

I worked at a residential treatment facility for at-risk boys when I was in Colorado. We took kids on wilderness trips and had to be trained on different situations that might come up. The pic was taken in the Lost Creek Wilderness area on a Staff training trip, that was very fun and tough.
Working with that population of kids is very mentally and emotionally draining, and the stress level was unreal. After being dx I couldn't put myself through it anymore. Plus the winters were hard for me since I'm a South Texas boy.
