Hi all,
I also had the liberation treatment on the 10th of March! What I will remember forever is that after a goodnight sleep in the hotel room the 2nd day after the procedure I could walk slowly unaided right after waking up. I was amazed to feel to stiffness at all and that's been ever since!:) It's truly liberation! I will right more in the log when I get more rest from the trip!

Thank you guys,
yes my operation was longer. I had a dilated vein, uncommon situation found once in about a hundred patients. I am happy that I was in hands of the experienced doctors.
Day after the procedure I was sleepy and didn’t see you Lelo. Anyways hope that my wife was a better company then I (wink-wink

).

Hi GRANDE Maestro (we say in Italian s.o. is GRANDE! when he did a great thing!), I'm just curious to know how they treated your delated vein? Reminds me of Rici, or different issue? But anyway, great to hear everything went well

Hi Zeureka,
Thank you Grande

. I don’t know the situation in Rici’s case, but my vein was 3cm wide at the place where it was dilated. They put two 40x14mm stents, one after another. I could hear doctors consulting with other doctors who were in the room across the glass. I was sleeping off and on all the time. They asked me to turn head left or right…
Procedure was two and a half hours long. Other people who operated the same day were about 40 minutes per operation.
The following day the swelling of the vein tissue was cleaned, the blood flow was acceptable. Doctor checked with a portable Doppler in my room. So I was realised from the clinic the next morning after the operation, like other people operated at the same time. I think there were seven of us operated the same day.

Hi mega-grande Maestro !!!! After such an intervention that's a name you deserve! All the best for recovery now!:D
Do you know Prof Schelling in Austria - he cooperates with Haacke on CCSVI research? He would be VERY interested in your case. He has dealt with Rici, who had similar problem as you. But seems they learned from Rici's case (was the first operated in Katowice) that's good to hear, as they now knew what to do in your case ! That's fantastic

!
In case of interest in Rici/Schelling, here is Rici's web-site. Rici has a lot of additional problems (so not only related to the widened vein) and asks for donations, see his thread:
Hello,
I would like to thank you very much for visiting my website (
www.rici-ms.com ) and your donations. I hope that with your help my problem will be successfuly solved soon. Thank you very much indeed.
Regards
Rici
