So where's the coverage in the US of Kuwait's momentus decision? Has anyone in the US seen anything on television like on W5 in Canada? How about the newspaper? Radio?.............

I don't know why you guys EXPECT news to get out on things like this ... MS affects (about) 1 in 1000 people in the US. That's not exactly a big draw of the population - even if you include their immediate family ... it's still only like 1 in 250 - not exactly a big number.
The only way this is going to get out is for you guys to push it ... send links to local news papers, write op-eds, etc.
Before my wife was diagnosed, I knew 1 person with MS, and hadn't seen her since college. I couldn't have told you anything about it either ... my guess is for about 200 of those 250 people I mention not directly impacted by MS ... that's the case. So why would they read about CCSVI?
Come on ... STAND UP FOR YOUR OWN CAUSE ... PUSH IT FORWARD. NOTHING WORTH WHILE EVER HAPPENED WITHOUT A REVOLUTION.
"Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has." (Margaret Mead)
This is your chance ... if you don't take it, who is going to? If you sit back and do nothing, are you expecting someone else to? What if they don't?
Write doctors, write newspapers, spread the word ... come on ...

mshusband,
I dare suggest that you document yourself a bit more before expressing out of place comments.

How is advising to stand up and write to people if they don't like the lack of coverage of CCSVI an out of place comment?
How is wanting to push this cause forward an out of place comment?
How is stating that I knew nothing of MS before a loved ones diagnosis an out of place comment? - and saying that the general population would fall in the same boat an out of place comment?
But yeah ... you're right. I'm out of place.

Fatma,
I'm so glad you came here to TIMS. It is nice to have someone from Kuwait with MS to let us know what is happening in your country with CCSVI. I am looking forward to hearing more !!

Fatma, do you have any information on how many MS patients are in Kuwait? There's been some confusion here.
