I wanted to share yet another wonderful benefit I have just come to realize I have had. I have experienced minor neuropathy (mild burning sensation) on the bottom of my feet for several years, usually in the late afternoon and evening, and I just realized this week that it is 98% gone - amazing!

The Accelera has really helped me in so many unexpected ways!

My thoughts on LDN: It is likely worth a try because you never know...

Outside the box?

Been trying to get out of this box for years. If only I could see a way out...

I am always looking for ways to improve my health, and I have fortunately been reasonably successful. But this device has made probably the biggest positive impact on my life with regards to MS. While I know there are some difficulties for you to acquire and try it out, it is definitely possible and not all that difficult - think outside the box.

As an experiment a few weeks ago, I increase the setting on the Accelera device that I wear on my right leg hoping for even more pain relief. I had previously been using it set to be 20-35 and turned it up to 60. Surprisingly my pain level and %frequency increased. It took me a few uncomfortable days and nights to figure it out. So about 2 weeks ago, I turned the power level back down to around settings in the 20-25. My pain level improved within hours. Earlier this past week, I did another experiment. I turned the Accelera setting down to 15, the same setting I have been using for the Accelera device on my left leg. I noticed that my pain level lowered even more. I had a great week with very low pain levels the entire week.

And then yesterday I had another miracle!

As I was going to bed at around 11:30 pm, I realized that I had actually been pain free the entire day! This was the 1st day in well over 10 years that I had a day without pain. I was shocked!

Additionally, last night I slept almost 5 hours uninterrupted, another miracle. I am usually woken up from my pain ever 2-3 hours all night long.

I hope this change is permanent. Time will tell.

I continue not to need to use a leg brace as my drop foot is 97% gone.

Last month a bought a Walkaide II foot drop device for my wife.
Although it isn't for whole day use as it irritates the nerve, it improves remarkably her gait and balance and she feels more confidence when walking

Thanks for your reply. I bought a Bioness recently which is similar to the Walkaide I think. I am not too impressed with it if I am honest, but I do wear it but not every day. It is very bulky so I need more wide leg trousers as it doesn't fit under my usual ones. That aside, the main controls are with the specialist - so after paying £3.3k I don't really own it.

I was interested to hear about the device that ElliotB bought and was impressed with, because I had contacted them at the time but it wasn't available in the UK. I have recently had an email from them asking if I'd be interested. I thought it might be an easier wear.

Actually I contacted the manufacturer of Walkaide in China which is XFT, and bought it from them directly much cheaper:

What I found the last month wife uses it is that placing in the correct point is very critical.
I tested it first on me to see where it promotes dorsiflexion or eversion or both depending of requirements.
And if you use it all day it irritates the peroneal nerve so use it only when you need it.
